What is Your Sunny Island?

Where are You going? What´s Your aim in life right now?

We can probably agree on that most people stop to think about their life once in a while, what they´d like a little bit more of in their lives, maybe a little bit less of…

I´m sure You´re one of them and You know what You´d like a bit more of (please comment below and tell me, ok?).

At this time of the year a lot of peeps make resolutions fro the new year and, frankly, we all know that doesn´t work….
Let me show You what does:

Take a definiteness of purpose (DMP), add in a definite plan (POA) expressed in continuous action executed by a mind closed to any negatives (PMA) and supported by a master mind alliance (MMA) of two or more minds working together for a definite end.

So pick Your choice!

What is Your “Sunny Island”?

What is it You want???

It´s the perfect time of the year to think in these terms:

What did You do right in 2014?
What can You do better?

The virtue of fulfilling small dreams

Hi there, this time coming from a tent in Swedish Lappland looking into the north west corner of Sarek! Last night was spent at a beautiful waterfall that’s about 23 km behind us now and the mountains were friendly today again, nice weather, mostly sun with some clouds and wind, perfect for the lack of Mosquitos we prefer.

So “we” are myself and my marvelous wife Maria getting here by manifesting an old DMP (Definite Major Purpose) of mine, first defined about fifteen years ago on the bus to Ritsem. At that time the train from Stockholm held in Murjek (probably it still does) and transportation by bus followed to Jokkmokk and then to Gällivare where the next bus to final destination Ritsem finally left the following morning – needless to say, it was a struggle to go hiking… So back to my DMP, that day on the bus fifteen years ago I promised myself that the next time I went to Ritsem I would drive my own car and be independent of lousy bus lines. Well, now it’s done! It took some while and it was for sure not the biggest, loftiest and most important goal (that’s by the way a good reason for its delayed manifestation) – now it’s done! 2014-07-30 11.39.47
And why is that the theme for this blog?

To quote a good friend:  I’m so glad you asked ;-)!

During yesterday’s hike it hit me that manifesting small and seemingly unimportant DMP, fulfilling minor dream and reaching not-so-impressing goals is not only fun and satisfying, it’s of major importance in training our subconscious that we will manifest our desires and demonstrating baby steps toward the loftier and more expanded DMP we carry in our heart – our hearts desire, the things, events and experiences we need to fullfill our self defined destiny!

So, what mini DMP do you have waiting to be manifested?
What goal lies almost forgotten in your mind and just waits to be easily reached?
What small dream has been nagging you without ever the “time being right” to fullfill it?

I challenge you to pick one or two, and as the commercial goes: “Just do it!” It will feel great and be a trigger for your next level!

Side note: Yesterday the Marvelous Maria found her first Reindeer horn resulting in an instant DMP of collecting as many as possible, a few km’s down the trail this is what the manifestation looked like!

The Golden Buddha

Please let me introduce this blog to You!
The title was inspired by the Myth of the Golden Buddha (please see the short movie below) and the very inspiring notion that we are all pure gold, regardless of current situation or past experiences, and that everyone of can has the ability as well as the drive to chip away the outer layers of protection and reveal our true nature.

The Hero’s Journey, as described by Joseph Campbell, is a reality in all our lives and I honestly believe that we are only then truly alive when we commence the journey and embrace our true natures as heroes in our own, individual realities.
Most of my life I’ve been trying to adjust to the norms, behaving accordingly to others expectations to gain acceptance and trying to please everyone outside of myself, naturally failing miserably and feeling a complete and utter failure in the process.
One day, quite a few years ago to be honest, I came to the point where I knew, I absolutely knew, I had to change – no one was going to do it for me and the alternative of a slow and steady process of dying day by day was unbearable. I didn’t know what to do, I did my best already, though I could see that my life wasn’t working and so the first step of liberating myself was to acknowledge my responsibility to live my own life – I couldn’t blame my situation on circumstances (I’d chosen them…), other people (I’d chosen them to…), earlier experiences (hmm, I chose the circumstances that led there…)
Basically, after all evidence was evaluated, there was only one suspect found at every scene of my life – ME!
As hard as that insight came to hit me at the time, the more deliberating it became with some though…
If I really was the only culprit (and I became more and more convinced by the minute that was the case…) and I had actually manifested every single thing in my life (the good, the bad, the ugly and the unspeakable…), it would lead to the only logical conclusion available: Looking for answers  outside of myself would be futile and irrational…
Though, looking for answers inside myself still seemed scary and preposterous, it was the only place that was left for me to search – discriminating thought being exceedingly more attractive then following the crowd and listening to the main stream exposing itself as a way of thickening the layer of concrete covering the gold.
As pointed out in the short movie: After experiencing even a  glimpse of Your gold, the stone will never satisfy You again – this was exactly what happened to me…
Spending my time chipping chunks of concrete of my golden core, I realize more and more that by helping others start and continue their journeys, I can learn, develop and chip of concrete faster and faster.
Thanks for helping me and I hope to be of service to You!

Mahalo, I appreciate You!
